Overview We are nearing the finish line! This module is completely optional but highly recommended if you want the system to look and feel 100% like your company. "White Labeling" removes the spiro.media branding from your links and replaces it with your own domain (e.g., portal.yourcompany.com).

⚠️ Warning: This is the most technical process in the setup. You will need access to your Domain Host (GoDaddy, Bluehost, Namecheap, etc.) to modify DNS records.

Step 1: Access Custom Domains 🌐

Navigate to Settings > My Company. Click on the Custom Domains box on the right side. Click Setup to begin.

Step 2: Choose Your Portal πŸ–₯️

Spiro has multiple portals (Agent, Property, Admin, etc.). You can white label all of them, none of them, or just the most important ones.

  • Recommendation: If you only do one, choose the Agent Portal.

  • Why? This is where your clients go to place orders, download media, and pay invoices. It is the most visible part of your business.

  • Wix Users: If your website is hosted on Wix, select "Wix" from the dropdown. Everyone else, select "All other hosting services."

Step 3: Define the Subdomain 🏷️

You need to choose a "Subdomain" for this portal. This is the word that comes before your domain name.

  • Popular Choices: portal, order, or app.

  • Example: If your domain is wowvideotours.com and you choose portal, your clients will visit portal.wowvideotours.com.

  • Enter your choice and click Create.

Step 4: Update DNS Records (The Technical Part) βš™οΈ

Spiro will now generate a list of records (CNAME, TXT, CAA) that you must add to your Domain Host.

  • The Goal: You need to copy these records from Spiro and paste them into your Domain Provider's DNS settings.

πŸ’‘ Cheat Codes for DNS Setup:

  1. Ask Support: Log in to your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy) and open their Chat Support. Tell them: "I need to add a few DNS records for a new software I'm using. Can I paste them here for you to add?"

  2. Use AI: Copy the records and ask a tool like ChatGPT or Gemini: "I use [Bluehost]. Please give me step-by-step instructions on how to add these specific DNS records."

  3. Check the KB: Spiro has specific video guides for GoDaddy, Wix, Hostinger, and more in our main support center.

Step 5: Verify βœ…

Once you have added the records to your host, come back to Spiro and click Verify.

  • Green Checkmarks: Mean success! Your portal is live.

  • Patience: DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours to propagate. If it doesn't verify immediately, wait and try again later.

Step 6: Custom Email Domains (Highly Recommended) πŸ“§

While you are in the DNS settings, you should also set up your Custom Email.

  • Navigate: Settings > My Company > Custom Email.

  • The Benefit: Instead of emails coming from a generic system address, they will come directly from your domain. This improves brand consistency and email deliverability.

  • The Process: Enter your domain, click Create, and add the 5 generated records to your DNS settings just like you did for the portal.

This concludes the core setup! If you have completed this, your system is branded, configured, and ready for launch.
