For each service, you can set two types of payouts to your Photographer:
Price: The amount paid whenever this service is included in a job.
Multiple: The amount paid when multiple services are assigned to the same job.
This setup allows for a reduced payout when a photographer handles multiple services at a single job, reflecting the efficiency gained.
In our experience at our REP company, certain tasks are common to every job, like driving, greeting clients, setting expectations, turning lights on/off, and adjusting blinds. When multiple services are scheduled at one appointment, the photographer doesn’t need to repeat this prep work, reducing the time required. This time savings lets us offer a lower payout for the additional service.
For example, if a photographer’s assignment includes:
Single Service Shoot:
Photo Only Shoot = time needed = 60 minutes. Payout = $40
Video Only Shoot = time needed = 60 minutes. Payout = $40
Multiple Product Shoot:
Photo and Video Shoot = time needed 90 minutes (savings of 30 minutes) = total payout $60
With this setup, you could configure your "Service" payouts as follows:
Photography = $40
Video = $40, with a “Multiple” price of $20 for efficiency.
In this case, Spiro will apply the “Multiple” price whenever more than one service is scheduled in the same job.
