How to Add the Spiro Portal to Your Phone (No App Required)
Spiro does not currently have a downloadable mobile app. However, the portals are mobile-optimized and can be added directly to your phone’s home screen — allowing them to function like an app.
This creates a shortcut icon that opens Spiro in full-screen mode for quick access.
Portal Links
Depending on your role, you may use:
Admin Portal:
https://admin.spiro.mediaPhotographer Portal:
https://photographers.spiro.mediaEditor Portal:
https://editors.spiro.mediaClient Portal (Order Page / Agent Access):
This would be your specific order page URL.
(You can add any or all to your home screen.)
Customizing the Portal Icon (Client Portal Only)
If you (or an agents) are adding an Order Page / Agent Portal to your home screen, the shortcut icon can be customized with your company branding.
To update the icon:
Go to Settings → Company Branding
Upload your Web App Logo
Save your changes
The uploaded Web App Logo will appear:
In the browser tab
When the portal is added to a phone’s home screen
Whether the user is logged in or not
If no Web App Logo is uploaded, the icon will default to the standard Spiro logo.
Note: Admin, Photographer, and Editor portals always display the standard Spiro logo and cannot be customized.
Android (Chrome)
Open Chrome on your phone.
Navigate to the portal website.
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Tap Add to Home screen.
Note: If the site supports Progressive Web App installation, you may see “Install app” instead.
Name the shortcut.
Tap Add.
The icon will now appear on your home screen.
iPhone / iPad (Safari)
Open Safari.
Navigate to the portal website.
Tap the Share button (square with an arrow pointing up).
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Name the shortcut.
Tap Add.
The portal will now appear on your home screen and open like an app.
