Connect your Dropbox account so Spiro automatically creates a folder for every job, shares it with your Photographers and Editors, and imports finished media into the Property Website Editor.
Overview
Once Dropbox is connected, you choose which folders Spiro creates inside every job folder:
Static Folders organize and share files with your team. They don't import anything into Spiro.
Auto Imported Folders send everything placed in them to a section of the Property Website Editor: Photo, Video, Downloadable Files, or Floor Plans.

How to connect your Dropbox account
Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Dropbox Configuration.
Click Add Dropbox Account.
Sign in to Dropbox and allow Spiro access to your account.
You return to Spiro once the account is connected.
How to add Static Folders
In Static Folders, click Add New Folder.
Enter a Folder Name.
Select RAW / Unedited Photos if the folder will hold unedited photos, or Merge Fleet Video Clips if it will hold raw video clips for Merge Fleet.
Repeat for each folder you need.
Click Save Changes.
When a folder is marked RAW / Unedited Photos, Spiro divides the number of files in it by the bracket count to estimate how many finished photos to expect. Editors and Admins see this in Task Manager (for example, "40 of 120").
How to add Auto Imported Folders
In Auto Imported Folders, click Add New Folder.
Select the Delivery Selection: Photo, Video, Downloadable Files, or Floor Plans.
Enter a Folder Name.
Repeat for each type of media you want to import.
Click Save Changes.
You can add one Auto Imported Folder for each Delivery Selection.
How to keep importing after delivery
By default, Auto Imported Folders stop importing when the Order is delivered.
In Dropbox Configuration, turn on After Delivery Auto Import Settings below Static Folders.
Choose how long to keep importing from Continue importing files for up to X days after delivery: 1 Day, 2 Days, 3 Days, or 4 Days.
Click Save Changes.
Understanding Dropbox folders and sharing
How folders are organized
Spiro creates folders in your connected Dropbox account in this order: Spiro Uploads → year → quarter → Photographer → job folder. Each job folder is named with the shoot date, appointment number, address, and Agent (for example, 10.01.2026 01 1111-oak-ave-se (amy agent)), and contains your Static and Auto Imported Folders.
When job folders are created
A job folder is created when the Photographer completes the job in the Photographer Portal.
Who gets access
Photographers get access to their own quarter folder and the job folder when they complete the job.
Editors get access to the job folder when their task is sent to them. Spiro shares it with the Editor's Dropbox Email Address if one is set, or their login email if not.
Admins use the connected Dropbox account directly.
When access ends
Spiro removes access to the job folder 7 days after the delivery email is sent. Photographers can still reach the job through their quarter folder.
Opening a job folder
Admins can click Dropbox on the Order in the Property Website Editor. Photographers can click Storage Folder on the job in the Photographer Portal.
Notes
Folder settings apply to jobs completed after you save. They don't change job folders that already exist.
Add a number to the start of folder names (for example, 01-RAW-Photos) to control the order they appear in Dropbox.
Don't rename, move, or delete job folders in Dropbox. Spiro can no longer find them, and the Dropbox and Storage Folder buttons stop working for that Order.
Renaming an Auto Imported Folder while jobs are open can interrupt imports. Spiro asks you to confirm before renaming. Make the change when there are no open jobs.
Each file name can only appear once per Order. If two files share a name, even in different subfolders, only one is imported.
Imports aren't instant. Large files or many jobs at once can take longer.
Deleting a file from Dropbox doesn't remove it from the Property Website Editor.
Video can be hosted by Dropbox or Vimeo, set in Settings → Integrations → Video Hosting Platform. When Dropbox hosts video, only .mp4 files are imported. See Dropbox Video Hosting Guide.
Avoid sharing Spiro folders manually in Dropbox. Dropbox limits how many folders can be shared at once, and manual shares count toward that limit.
Removing the Dropbox integration deletes your Static Folders, Auto Imported Folders, and import settings. Before removing it, take a screenshot of Dropbox Configuration so you can re-enter them, and reconnect the same Dropbox account.
