Spiro allows you to easily add your time off through Google Calendar.
Google Calendar Integration Notes:
Google Calendar is to add time off
Time off must be added to the system/work calendar or it will not sync back into Spiro
Time off will sync to the Photographer and Admin portal Calendar (you cannot add or modify time off within the system, it must be done on your calendar)
Jobs will sync to your system/work Google Calendar but you must use the Photographer portal to check in and complete jobs
Google Calendar Integration Overview Video
How to Link your Google Calendar to Spiro
Login to the Photographer Portal.
Click My Profile on the left menu.
Click Add Google Integration at the bottom of the page
Select the Google account you would like to sync with Spiro.
Click Continue on the next page. This gives Spiro access to your calendar.
You have successfully integrated your Google Calendar! You will see a new calendar added to your Google Account.
Google Calendar Options
By default Spiro will create a new calendar to add your appointments and sync time off. However you have options to change the main calendar and sync additional calendars for time off!
Linking Additional Calendars
If you view multiple calendars in Google (for example, personal and business) but only see one reflected in Spiro, it’s likely because only one calendar was actually integrated.
Google allows you to view multiple calendars at once, but Spiro can only read events from the specific calendars you’ve connected.
To confirm:
Go to your Photographer Portal → My Profile → Google Calendar Integration.
Under Additional Calendars, check any other calendars that appear in your Google Calendar view but aren’t yet linked in Spiro.
This ensures all the calendars you rely on in Google are actively connected and syncing with Spiro.
Spiro will then be able to read the events from your other calendars and will block off any events/time that are marked as busy from your calendar.
