With your Dropbox integration you can choose to have Spiro scan certain folders and automatically load those assets into the Property Website. Inside the Dropbox integration setup you will need to create "Auto Import Folders" to automatically bring in media to your Property Website.

How Do I Create Auto Import Folders?

Visit the Dropbox integration page here. Once you have authenticated your Dropbox account the right side of the integration setup will allow you to create Auto Import Folders

How Long Will the Import Take

Once you have uploaded media to a Dropbox Auto Import Folder the time it takes to import back into your property website can vary depending on a few items: The type, size and number of files, and also on Server Load time. If you are importing many very large photos to Spiro the auto import will take longer then smaller sized files. We feel as through a HQ image in the range of 4-8MB is more than enough for Realtors to print on a brochure.

Load of Server - when you are auto importing many sets of images this can slow down the auto import process. If your editor completes 5 jobs for you and uploads them all to Dropbox at the end of the day this will place load on the server and will slow down the import. We suggest that your editor uploads each set as they complete their editing, as opposed to completing all sets and then uploading.

How Often Will the Sync Take Place?

We constantly scan your Auto Import Folders for new media, when we detect new media uploading, we begin to import to your property website. We will scan for new media and import for up to 4 days after delivery, if you decide to activate this feature in the Dropbox integration section.

In case this is not activated in your settings, you can still manually upload the media on the Property Website Editor.

Will Spiro Delete Media if I Remove it From an Auto Import Folder

No, Spiro will not delete media if you delete it from an Auto Import folder.

Can I Auto Import Video

Yes, you can! To import video this requires a Vimeo integration. We will scan your Dropbox folder and automatically load the video file to your Vimeo account and then will paste the share link back into the property website for you automatically!
