Downloading Media

If you ever get lost with how you can download media, we’ll show you a step-by-step breakdown and some walkthrough about the download quality including some frequently asked questions

Where can I navigate to download my photos?

There are a few steps how you can get to the download page, here’s the first:

Simply go to your listings tab and from there navigate over to the right-hand side of the page

Second is, if you’re within an order you should be able to see the download page directly from there

Ultimately, wherever you are in the platform, you should be able to access the download page easily.

I have accessed the agent’s account, and it hasn’t been paid but why can I download the content I uploaded?

  • This happens if the system detects that you are impersonating the agent’s account from your admin account. We highly recommend using an incognito browser if you are looking to check if the downloads are indeed locked

Can my clients download the video I uploaded on the Listing?

  • Yes, they should be able to as long as the video uploaded is set as downloadable and if it is coming from Vimeo.

I have already uploaded the video from Vimeo and have the steps above set, why am I still unable to see that they can download it?

  • You would need to ensure that your Vimeo account is integrated with Spiro which you can do here: Vimeo Integration

What’s the difference between the Download Quality?

  • Print Quality: this refers to downloading the images using the same quality you uploaded with; ideally this is for Flyers, Posters, etc.

  • Web Quality: depends on your setting which you can modify here: General Settings

When you upload media to Spiro we suggest you upload the high-quality image (Print quality) you can upload any size/resolution as long as it is under 20 MB per image. Images that are over 20 MB in size will not upload and will need to be downsized

Once you upload the Print quality images Spiro will automatically create the Web resolution images based on your setting here

Your local MLS may require a particular image width when your agents upload your images online. You can select the width that your MLS prefers. If you do not know this width we recommend 2500px.

Spiro will size the width of the image to match your setting "Image Width for Web Optimized Photos" We will also take the resolution (DPI) to 72.

Spiro also automatically creates the thumbnail images and if you are using Pay Before Download we will automatically watermark the images for preview before payment.

  • Custom Size - only the width of the photo can be changed

  • Branded - You can add any logo you would like to the photos being downloaded
