How to Add/Create Agents and Companies/Brokerage

Adding your Brokerage companies and Realtors/Agents will allow your clients to log in without having to manually enter their contact information each time they want to order.

Here’s how:

From your Dashboard select Clients and click on Agents

It will then prompt you to fill in this form

After adding and modifying all necessary information, click on Create Agent

**The same process applies when adding Companies to your account

Another Option would be to Import Clients over to your account

If you have data from another system you would like to import you can quickly and easily do so in Spiro! Save your data as a CSV file or use our template for easy importing!

Note: For agent records both email and phone are required. You cannot create an agent record without BOTH of these fields

After the import you will receive an email with the results of the import which will include any fields that are skipped (duplicate values or missing data)

Click on Import:

This page would then prompt this pop-up to show

  • Agents - a CSV that contains only agent information - from this we will add new agents to your portal

  • Companies - a CSV that contains only company information - from this, we will add new companies to your portal

When importing companies you MUST select the "Service Area" of the company. If your CVS contains companies that below to more than 1 Service Area please separate these and upload each Service Area separately

  • Agents & Companies - a CSV that contains only agent and company information - from this we will add new agents and companies in your portal

The process will be the same for all 3 different types of import. In the following example, we will walk through the process of importing Companies

After Selecting the Import type and Service Area, you may then proceed to uploading the CSV file

You may need to manually map each field - Click on the dropdown trigger

If you download and use our templates we will automatically map each column to the correct field.

If you upload a custom CSV file you may need to tell Spiro where each field should go in Spiro.

Note: Not all fields are required, all field that you map will be imported to the record in Spiro

After all fields are mapped click "Upload" Here’s a sample of how it should be if the upload was a success

Once uploaded your request will take a few minutes to process. You will receive an email after import that will include the results of the import
