A completed task can't be reopened or marked incomplete in Spiro. This article covers what to do instead, based on why you needed the task open again.
Overview
Once a task is marked Completed, its status can't be changed. The following actions don't reopen a completed task:
Demote to Editing and QC: moves the Order back a stage, but task statuses stay the same.
Refresh Orders (in Settings → Task Builder): only updates tasks that haven't started yet.
Recreate Tasks (on the To-Do list): only creates tasks for services that don't have one yet. Completed tasks are skipped.
Most reasons for reopening a task can be handled without it:
How to add media after a task is completed
Click Dropbox on the To-Do list to open the Order's Dropbox folder.
Upload the new files to the matching auto import folder.
Click Import Edited File on the To-Do list.
How to resend the delivery email from the To-Do list
Open the Property Website Editor for the Order.
On the To-Do list, click Send email on the delivery task.
Review the delivery email and send it.
You can also resend it from the Deliver button in the Property Website Editor. See How to Resend Delivery Email.
How to add a new task to a completed Order
Open the Order and add the new service. See How To Edit or Modify a Placed Order.
Open the Property Website Editor for the Order.
Click Recreate Tasks.
Confirm the new task appears on the To-Do list.
Notes
Send email is available once the Order's delivery pages have been created.
Completing a task can't be undone. Anything it triggered, like emails, text messages or webhooks, has already been sent.
Imported files appear on the property website once the import finishes. This usually takes a few minutes but can take up to 30 minutes.
Import Edited File requires the Dropbox integration. See How to Troubleshoot Files not being imported from Dropbox.
Resending the delivery email goes to the Agent and any additional recipients. It may also send the delivery text message (depending on the Agent's settings) and the Invoice, if one is due.
Recreate Tasks is available to admins only.
Recreate Tasks only creates tasks for newly added services. It can't create a second task for a service that already has a completed one.
Adding a service changes the Order total. Unpaid Invoices update to the new price, and paid Invoices show as partially paid.
If a new task doesn't become available after Recreate Tasks, or none of the options above fit, contact support through the chat bubble in the app.
