You have the ability to white label your email records to send email from your custom domain inside of Spiro!
1. Click on Settings…
2. Click on My Company
3. Click on Personalized Email Domain
4. Click on Setup Custom Email
5. Type in your Domain - NOT with a Subdomain
6. Click on Create
7. DNS Records will be instantly generated that will need to be added to your domain host
We strongly recommend you generate the DNS records in Spiro and then chat with your hosting provider. Your hosting provider will input these for you via chat or a support ticket. If you do not know what you are doing with DNS records you can cause downtime with your domain.
What if I already have MX records on my Domain?
To increase deliverability we suggest you add all 5 records generated in your portal to your domain. If you already have MX records please add the Spiro MX records with a LOWER priority than your current MX records. Adding them at a priority of 15.
How To Find your hosting provider:
Visit Who is
Type in your domain
Look at the Name Servers entry
The name of your provider will typically be in the Name Servers - in this case the provider is "Bluehost"
Squarespace Users
If you are adding the DNS records yourself and host through Squarespace you will need to modify the DNS entries slightly to match their requirements
In the "Host" entry you cannot have your domain name included.
For example a CNAME record:
Correct
email.sp
Incorrect
email.sp."mydomain.com"
Please be sure your domain is not entered in any entry
GoDaddy Users
8. Once Records have been added click Verify
If you have just added the records to your host and Verify fails, please wait 1-4 hours and come back and click the Verify button again. The population of these records is dependent on your host.
