Inside of Spiro you can add a video to the property website through a Youtube or Vimeo link. Spiro will embed the video onto your property website so all visitors can view the video on the page.

Vimeo Advantages:

At our REP Company over the past 20 years we have settled on Vimeo as the best option to host and stream videos. Vimeo will give you options that are important to your clients. Two of the largest are:

  1. No suggested videos or ads. When our REP company used Youtube I can't tell you the number of times a client would call in upset about the suggested videos at the end of their walkthrough tour.

  2. Privacy Settings - Vimeo will allow you to set proper privacy settings for our industry. It is very important that a property is not advertised pre MLS launch date. There can be large fines for the agents.

Not only do you gain the advantages above but with integrating your Vimeo account n Spiro your client will be able to download any video. You can integrate your Vimeo account in Settings

Once you have your Vimeo account integrated and you link a video from that account on the property website, Spiro will automatically create a download link to the file for your clients:

Streamlining the Video Process when Working with an Editor

Spiro was designed to completely streamline the process of working with an editor and we have also integrated automated video uploading from Dropbox to your Vimeo channel.

Here is the process (required Dropbox and Vimeo integrations)

  1. Photographer Completed the Job in the Photographer Portal

  2. Dropbox folders are automatically created

  3. Upload RAW assets to corresponding folders

  4. These Dropbox folders are automatically shared with your editor(s)

  5. Your Editors take the media and created finished photos and video

  6. Editors upload to a Finished Photo and Video folder

  7. Once Spiro detects Media in these folders we will upload to the correct section

  8. When video is uploaded Spiro will automatically take that video on Dropbox and load it to your Vimeo account, Spiro can even set the thumbnail of the video to be the first image

  9. Finally Spiro will paste the share code into the Property Website for you to QC before you send to your client
