Spiro imports files from your Dropbox Auto Imported Folders into the Property Website Editor. If files aren't showing up, work through the checks below in order.
Check the folder name and location
Spiro only imports from folders listed under Auto Imported Folders, inside the job folder for that Order.
Go to Settings → Integrations → Dropbox Configuration.
Under Auto Imported Folders, note the folder name for each Delivery Selection (Photo, Video, Downloadable Files, Floor Plans).
In Dropbox, open the job folder: Spiro Uploads → year → quarter → Photographer → job folder.
Confirm the files are inside a folder whose name matches exactly, including spaces, dashes, and capitalization.
Check whether the Order was delivered
By default, Spiro stops importing automatically when the delivery email is sent. Check your setting:
Go to Settings → Integrations → Dropbox Configuration.
Under After Delivery Auto Import Settings, check the setting:
Do not import after delivering (default): files added after delivery aren't imported automatically.
1 Day to 4 Days: Spiro keeps importing automatically for that many days after delivery.
Click Save Changes if you change it.
To import files after delivery, whatever this setting is:
Open the Order in the Property Website Editor.
On the To-Do list, click Import Edited File.
Check the job folder hasn't been moved or renamed
Spiro looks for the job folder at its original location and name. If the job folder, or any folder above it, was renamed or moved, change it back. If it was deleted, restore it from Deleted files in Dropbox.
Check the file names
Same name as a file already on the Order: Spiro replaces the existing file only if the new one is newer. Otherwise it's skipped.
Renamed file: imports as a new file. The old file stays on the Order, so it can appear twice. Delete the old one in the Property Website Editor.
Deleted file: deleting a file in Dropbox doesn't remove it from Spiro. Delete it in the Property Website Editor.
Check video settings
Dropbox video hosting imports .mp4 files only. Other video formats are skipped.
Your Video Hosting Platform must be set up for video to import. See How to choose your video hosting platform.
Allow time for the import
Imports aren't instant. Large files, many files, or many jobs uploading at once take longer.
Contact Spiro support
If the checks above don't fix it, Spiro's connection to Dropbox may have stopped working. Other signs: new job folders aren't being created, or nothing imports on any Order. Contact Spiro support through the chat bubble in the Admin portal and send:
A screenshot of the Dropbox folder showing the full path and the files.
The Order address.
Notes
Don't remove and re-add the Dropbox integration to fix import problems. Removing it deletes your Static Folders, Auto Imported Folders, and import settings, and files added while it's disconnected aren't imported. Contact Spiro support first.
There's no file size limit on Dropbox imports. Photos uploaded directly in the Property Website Editor must be .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif and under 50 MB.
If clicking Dropbox on an Order shows an error, see Fixing Dropbox 400 Folder Error.
