There are two ways to get a video onto the property website:
Paste a link from YouTube, Vimeo, or Dropbox (.mp4) in the Property Website Editor.
Host it. Spiro imports the video from your Dropbox or Vimeo account automatically. Set this up once in Video Hosting Platform. See How to choose your video hosting platform.
How to add a video to the Videos section
Open the Order's Property Website Editor.
Scroll to the Videos section. If you don't see it, click Add New Section and add Videos.
Click Add Video Link.
Enter a Display title and, if you like, a Description.
Paste the link in Link to unbranded video.
If you also have a branded version, check I have a branded video and paste its link in Link to branded video.
Click Save Changes.
To add more videos, click Add Video Link again. To change their order, click Rearrange.
How to add a hero video
The hero video appears at the top of the property website.
Open the Order's Property Website Editor.
In the Landing section, find Hero Videos.
Paste the link in Link to unbranded video. Add a branded version the same way as above, if you have one.
Click Save Changes.
Understanding supported links
YouTube, including Shorts links.
Vimeo.
Dropbox: the link must be to an .mp4 file.
Videos don't play automatically. Viewers click play.
Understanding branded and unbranded videos
Some listing sites, such as certain MLSs, only allow unbranded videos (no agent or company branding). Spiro has separate fields for each so you can keep both versions on the Order.
Understanding video downloads
Dropbox videos: viewers can download the video from the player's menu (⋮ → Download).
Vimeo videos: a download option appears when downloads are turned on for the video in Vimeo. See Suggested Vimeo Privacy Settings.
YouTube videos can't be downloaded from the property website.
Troubleshooting a hosted video that didn't import
Check that Video Hosting Platform is set to the platform you're using. If Vimeo is selected, videos in your Dropbox Video folder aren't hosted from Dropbox. See How to choose your video hosting platform.
Dropbox video hosting supports .mp4 files only. Other formats, such as .mov, aren't imported.
Notes
Vimeo isn't required. You can host video in Dropbox instead. See Dropbox Video Hosting Guide.
For Vimeo setup, see Vimeo Integration.
